A: A class to teach a method of interpretive reading and discussion known as Shared
Inquiry.

A: All 6th grade students who have scored a 3,4, or 5 on FCAT.
Q: How long is the class?
A: a semester long (1/2 year).
Q: What is the overall objective of the course?
A: The Reading course will prepare students to become responsible citizens, and enthusiastic,
lifelong readers.
Q: What are the goals of the course?
A: The Student will:
- Become an accomplished interpretive reader.
- Participate and interact thoughtfully to resolve a question of meaning.
- Communicate complex ideas.
- Expand and support their thoughts.
